Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Molecular and Cellular Engineering
1. The candidates who wish to study this course are required to have an intermediate (10+2) degree in subjects such as physics chemistry and mathematics.
2. Candidates are expected to have a minimum score of 50-70% in their prior examinations to secure successful admission in this course.
3. In the case where Grade points are not awarded only marks are awarded, the candidate must have secured at least 60% marks for the General/OBC/UPS category and 50% marks for SC/ST/DAC category.
Admission Process
1. Colleges publish notice of admission on their website from a period of June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark as the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Candidates are also expected to have qualified entrance exams such as JEE Main and JEE Advanced to avail admission to colleges of their respective choice.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
